Artwork Description:
A painting of the bridge over the River Liffey in the heart of Dublin City. This very characteristic two hundred year old bridge was a a toll bridge for 100 of those years and the fee was a halfpenny. The bridge was closed for repair and renovations during 2001 and returned to its original white colour.
On May 2016, bicentenary celebrations were held with a symbolic procession over the bridge. Original oil painting on canvas
