I am also a musician. This is a series of paintings inspired by a blotched out of focus photo. Yes I was one of the musicans. At this period of time most of my paintings were shades of purple. I later realized that the purple phase of painting was influenced by a photo portrait of my Mother She had a purple dress in the photo. She died shortly after this photo was taken.
