Artwork Description:

Rabbits 10e4 is an abstracted detail of tiny part of another abstraction, Sea Ice series, which itself is a detail of a tiny part on the edge of one petal about one 16th off an inch long of one of the Amaryllis 50 series of images. I found a particular detail of part of the Sea Ice image reminded me of a rabbit, and I took this detail and reproduced it several times to form a field of 6 rabbits. In this particular version, 10e4, the rabbits have been tinted a reddish brown to make them have a more naturalistic look as the original rabbit-like detail was bright blue.
