White Bear's Daughter is Cassandra, the mythological prophetess whom none would believe. In the painting, inspired by the artist's imagination, Cassandra dreams of Tantalayu known as The White Stallion, portrayed as a white horse.
The White Stallion
Amid white cloud formations
a visionary stallion may appear.
How can it fly on wings of fear?
Wind caresses the stallion ride.
Dreams are borne on clouds of air.
Love so bound by human pride
will fly on wings of ecstasy.
The world is filled with stallion's delight
Illumined in the cells with care.
Radiance is divine and within your sight
is the whiteness of an angel's hair.
See a unicorn, symbol of peace.
See a Pegasus amid the gleam.
Enchanted visions never cease.
Nothing is what it may seem.
In such a vision are many things.
Two parts of the world as one.
A hummingbird, though it may not sing,
still knows when dreams are done.
