Artwork Description:

STUDIO TECHNIQUES USED INCLUDE INTAGLIO, AQUATINT, DRYPOINT, AND CHINE COLLE. The zinc plate is 6 inches wide by 9 inches high, or 15.24cm by 22.86cm. Seven nitric acid baths were required to reach my desired design. The overall size of the print measures 11 inches wide by 15 inches high, or 28cmx38cm. Please note that this etching is shipped to the buyer without a frame or mat. This keeps the price low and allows the collector a range of choice in framing. For shipment, a sturdy cardboard box is employed. The etching is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping box and securely packed with bubble wrap. Handling, packing materials, strong packing tape, and shipment carton are included in the price. However the price does not include shipment costs.
