The most Sacred, The Sacred Heart Of Jesus, commonly depicted on back of St. Christopher medals and in paintings. Depasquale stepped it up and carved it in stone.. The purest Heart, that suffered long, endured all, and still prevailed, to be the noblest heart of all. "Love, Faith, Hope... the greatest is Love" (First Corinthians 13:13) Let Love be your greatest aim! Extremely challenging sculpture, especially the crown of thorns. I used a superb fine grain carving marble called Obergine from Greece! This was carved from one block. Base is Negro Marquina marble. This sculpture resides in a private O. C. estate.
