i think it is time to make a

ivory, bone, antlers, etc.

with elephants and i love them
dearly. and, i am a Buddhist
nun so my beliefs do not allow

i think it is time to make a statement to viewers. by now you must know that i carve on ivory, bone, antlers, etc. for many many years i worked with elephants and i love them dearly. and, i am a Buddhist nun so my beliefs do not allow killing ANYTHING. when i began carving i found a reputable ivory and bone dealer who uses only legal ivory. legal ivory is either fossilized or pre-ban and neither of these take animal lives. as we go thru our lives situations come up that force a bit of compromise. i feel ... |
