Artwork Description:

When this miniature was painted, my studio overlooked the water, which made me keenly aware of the vicissitudes of wind and water in Southwest Florida. After a particularly vicious storm I looked across the lake and saw this extraordinary waterscape. I immediatley started a watercolor so I could capture the watery reflections, the angry clouds at the edge of night and the last rays of the sun filtering through the storm clouds. I was confused, why this gentle scene as the black clouds receded--is Nature asking for redemption framed 3 gold frame with beige liner
