Artists Describing Their Art:
Eve Co - I began painting and drawing in 1987 and have not stopped. I have a wide range from, landscapes, still-lifes, Hubble art galaxies nebulas, abstracts, florals, architectural art and so much more. I draw every day and paint as much as I can afford. I paint more watercolors than acrylic and oil canvas art. I would prefer more canvas art, but I make do with what I have. I try to express myself in artwork as well as with words. I paint landscapes, the glorious colors of nature, water, the ever expressive sky and more, primarily with watercolors on paper. These paintings are usually thought out and planned because they represent nature as I see nature. I paint still-lifes of everyday objects. To teach me about one particular color, shading and or painting glass. I think of still-lifes as a learning process that literally has me pulling my hair out in frustration, but I still paint through how they make me feel... I am fascinated with Hubble Space Technology so, I paint galaxies and nebulas on canvas with acrylic paints. I have sold many of these paintings and I must admit they are some of my favorite subjects...
Rickie Dickerson - I work from the core, I smear my guts on the canvas, all the pain and confusion...joy, lust and anger...right before your very eyes. I have to paint, I have no choice. My mentor, Luise "Mignon" Andersen, introduced me to acrylic paint and threw me deeper into the river of creativity. Everything I do is just to keep me from drowning... As for the photography, that's compulsive as well....

Different texture and different levels of surface create another level of expression. The pictures physical body juxtapose and suffuse it veritably forming jazz of visual performance. In many aspects my style is conceptual, the idea behind the artworks is very important to me. Also, some of paintings have elements of surrealism and pointillism. Anyway my style is unique In order to achieve particular expression, last few years, I am simplifying forms and like sharp contrasts with too many nuances. Too many artist around me are painting abstractions, I got bored and start paint in this manner. From 2013 until 2017 I was only painting and not participating in any art exhibitions or projects. Only in October 2017 for the first time in the UK exhibited my artworks in Milton Keynes art week. Also, created my profile in Saatchi Art Gallery. ...
Mauricio Aybar - I am a self-taught artist based on life experiences and practical working. Shortly after beginning my studies in art, I became interested in mosaic and decided to go to several countries - looking to soak up different cultures and techniques including notably a significant period of time in Barcelona, home to Gaudi and other modern mosaic artists, where I acquired much of my technique and spirit as an artist. Art is believing and throwing you into the experience like a child playing. Even though I take my artistic work very seriously, I still have a lot of fun while IaEURtmm creating. For me, the mosaic is a way to create an engaging visual environment through the line, colour and form and also use it as an opportunity to develop my own unique artistic voice. It would not be unreasonable to suggest that any meaning or concept comes second, the quality of the actually work is what is paramount. Lisa Mee - I transform vistas, figures, abstractions and still lifes by using spatial differentiations. My color-saturated paintings resonate with immediate emotional impact to convey an opulent stained-glass effect on canvas of mosaic-like patterns and light. I gather patterns found in nature water currents, geological forms such as stones, shells, skies, forests, flowers. IaEURtmll see a sunset streaming with rich colors. Or, I will be struck by luscious floral arrangements in huge pots. Gorgeous color combinations form the beginnings of my work. I begin by mixing matte mediums with different paint colors. I never know what hues will emerge. That is my joy to see the unexpected unfold. Beautiful tints manifest that I never would have gotten out of a paint tube. I create very spontaneously. When the paints are laid out, I integrate them together. While a canvas is sopping wet, I quickly apply a sheet of paper to the surface and carefully press it down. With great care, I lift the paper off the surface. Or, Ill leave the paper on the canvas if I like the veil-like effect. Often, I sketch a composition on to the canvas, particularly tree scenes and landscapes since they are ...
