Artist Statement:
I work from photographs
abstracting what I see as the
essence of the picture. I have
been drawing and painting
since I was in junior high
school. I always thought I was
serious about it. With the
advent of the internet, I now
have places to post and
publish my work. I work with
oil crayons and graphite as
well as crayola crayons and
graphite. I tried water color
but don't feel that
comfortable with them.

I have written 5 books of
poetry and published numerous
poems in magazines and
e-zines. Photographs and
paintings have also appeared
in print and in internet
publications.
