Artist Statement:
I'm a cartoonist/illustrator
looking to emphasize humor in
art. My drawings/cartoons are
simple, yet effective, and
often veer into the darker
regions of the human
condition.
I believe the cartoon medium
can effectively present ideas
to people that would
ordinarily shun art as being
too stodgy or precious. Though
not at all a fan of
"superhero" art, I appreciate
all art as valuable and worthy
of contemplating if only to
give the artist the respect
he/she deserves for pursuing
their vision....
