Welcome to John Vasiliou's Portfolio.
I approach my art through intuition more than conscious effort. Making art is my way of disengaging from ordinary experience, giving life to the force of the psyche- that which Carl Jung described as “active imagination”. My emotional response leads to possibilities taking form through different media. The “themes” behind my images point to the interior realm and the natural world– the metaphysical and the phenomenal.
