Artist Statement:
The approach to my art is to
accept discovery. Apart from
the language of sound, visual
art is the only language that
allows communication between
people from different cultural
backgrounds.
I use Antiquity as a starting
point from which to create a
link, a medium to cross
cultural barriers on the
canvas, giving voice to mutual
creativities and
understandings. Composition
becomes movement across the
ancestral landscapes of
antiquity. Out of time, out of
reach, painting is primarily
using art to “reconcile
extreme and complicated
contrasts.”
