Artist Statement:
Michelle Scott has been a
visual artist since the 4th
grade when her teacher
introduced her to its "magic".
She later attended American
River, Sacramento City
College and Art Center College
of Design in Pasadena majoring
in Illustration.
Though most of Michelle's
early work is in transparent
watercolor, she has not been
limited to painting on paper
or canvas, frequently being
commissioned to do large-scale
graphics, murals, and
sculpture as well as cloisonne
design and art furniture
fabrication.
Michelle is currently
working in book illustration.
