Welcome to Janice Young's Portfolio. Browse Young's body of work: I am a multimedia artist. I can’t stay confined to one medium. When I get an idea, I think, how can I express this visually? Then I choose the medium or mediums that I believe best communicates my inspiration. Sometimes the medium picks me, and the inspiration comes from the material.
I like to reuse materials from demolition, or use up leftover material from construction. I like to gather raw materials from nature, and I like to experiment with the many paints, glues, finishes, and other commercially produced materials.
