Stephen Mead - In the early 1990's Stephen Mead's poems began appearing in such journals as Onionhead, Bellowing Ark, and Invert, but upon moving to Provincetown, Mass., Stephen decided to concentrate more on visual work. It was in the year 2000, after moving back to NY, that Stephen started seeking publication again for both his writing and his art combined. Since, then, thanks to the wonders of the World Wide Web, his work has appeared internationally both in cyberspace, hard copy, and physical Gallery Space. Often the writing has appeared along side his paintings, and at other times with the text superimposed. In 2004 Stephen began experimenting even more with these poetry/art hybrids creating a series of e books, including the award winning "We Are More Than Our Wounds". From there Stephen began experimenting with his art and poems as films, at first creating slideshows with captions, and then doing his own soundtracks and voice overdubs. These DVDs are available through Indieflix.com In 2006 Stephen put this technology to use releasing a CD of poems set to music "Safe & Other Love Poems" (CDBaby.com), as well as two print editions of his image/art hybrids, "Selected Works" and "Tree ...
Carole Clark - "Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art." - Ralph Waldo Emerson Welcome to my gallery. Carole Mc Comb Clark was born in Alhambra, CA and grew up in Rosemead, CA. The proud widow of a United States Marine. I am a breast cancer survivor. I discovered the joy of painting at a very young age and have had a paint brush in my hand ever since. As a child I loved to paint in watercolor as most children do. I have studied with many art teachers, learning the use of acrylics, oils and other mediums. I taught art in Glendora, CA. Among my awards are Best in show at the Covina, CA Art Fair and First Place at the Glendora, CA Art Festival and second place at the Perris, CA Art Festival. Feel free to look through my portfolio. Theodore Kennett Raj - About Theodore As a visual artist I follow my own muse. My visual narrative paintings and pen drawings reflect fanciful subjects and situations depicted with explosions of colour and textures. Born in Maduria India, I have a very exuberant colour sense which reflects the origins of my country of birth. In 1974 I studied design and art at Shillito design school in Sydney, NSW. I have spent most of my working life in the fashion industry . Previously I have exhibited my work at eca bar in Darlinghurst, Sydney, NSW which atrracted enthusiastic commentry from the fusion of creative locals of the area. In 2007 I was invited to join a group exhibition at Tap gallery in Sydney which was received with great enthusiasm. I relocated to to the northen rivers region of NSW. This move has given me a new freedom to to visualise and create new colours and shapes which excites me and gives me new sense of experimentation bringing new movement and life into my work. since march 2012 i have been exhibiting at the Channon gallery ,in the beautiful hamlet of channon N.S.W.Australia.the new body of works i have created useig acrylic and ...

Eleanor Hartwell - I am a self taught artist. I like to explore in all types of media, and try out a variety of style and type of work. I have a lot of fun doing what I do. I have done a series of drawings for a book on Harehunting, which will be published in the spring of 2002. "One Day at a Time" In October of 2002, New Hampshire Public Radio will be offering a "gift" of a mug to thier fall fund drive donaters, featuring my painting done specially for this project. ...
