Artists Describing Their Art:
Walter Fydryck - I am presenting birds in a different manner. I am presenting women in a different manner. Combining women with birds in unexpected situations sets up a tension that is otherwise unforeseen. Without establishing a relationship between bird and women, an isolation exists that supports a strange mood. This isolation is heightened by graphic sensibilities. An acrylic wash is brushed on BFK Reeves paper and after delineating imagery with a grease pencil, applied color pencil and soft pastel are rubbed into the wash. Repeated rubbings result in rich color while minimal rubbing accentuates the expressive wash. The result is a layered transparency....
Cindy Pinnock - Artist Statement My heart goes into all that I do whether it be from cooking gourmet dishes, to 3 dimensional art works that adorn my home or to my warm embracing landscaping that surrounds my house for guests. My passion for expressing my emotions onto a blank canvas started shortly after high school and was fine-tuned with college and private classes. However, I must admit that truly being a part of nature and experiencing the great outdoors in our beautiful state have greatly deepened my passion for wildlife and nature in my work. As my tastes matured, I ventured into many different mediums such concrete, mosaic, and pencil just to name a few. Most recently, oil painting has consumed my passion for the brilliance of color and the ability of combining different techniques of brush and abstract impressionistic strokes by hand. The way I look at ordinary objects in our daily lives and make them more unique sets me apart from other artists. I donaEURtmt keep my work to simply a canvas but to the world around me, I live my creativity and have no limitations. I would welcome the opportunity to have you view my creations please ...

I love to paint landscapes, trees, music instruments, birds, flowers and abstract art. I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember, but employment in a totally unrelated field caused me to give up doing any form of artwork for many years. In recent times I re-kindled my interest in art, and, inspired by friends and family, I decided to publish some of my works online. Photography is me yet another passion. We see some simple things around us daily, but to capture it and believe in its beauty is an art in itself. I need you immense support in my journey; to be a successful painter and ...
