David Rocky Aguirre - ************** To me, Art seems to be a universal language. It can be used to portray something beautiful and uplifting, or to portray a tragedy to motivate and move people to act. To motivate them to help in some way as in Picasso's "Guernica 1937". I have a wide range in creative interests, from most forms of painting- oil to watercolor and on to print forms, sculpture, photography, film and computer animation. Contact me for any creative projects you may have....

Ken Hillberry - In art and in life, dynamics of balance, integrity and tolerant interaction of all elements or participants ought to be see, experienced and maintained. At the same time, the challenge of affecting this balance is creatively encountering all changes and adapt accordingly. For some, the destination or pre-determined outcomes are sought more often than not. Then there are some who savor the journey, thus witnessing and enjoying developments along the way. I fall into the latter category. It's like watching the film develop in a darkroom. the image takes form a little at a time right before my eyes. The creative process, for me, is void of pressure and timeless. The ability and practice and discipline are central in my approach. My creative intent is to engage a viewer in thought and emotion, as well as, with their eyes. Using imagination, retrospect or model, my range of composition can be conceptual, perhaps impressionistic or abstract in application, but always developed to evoke an awareness and appreciation for the relative conditions in life experience and art form as I incisively or playfully interpret my experiences along the way. ...

Sandra Costa Bras - After trying several painting and photography techniques, I chose watercolour as the main media of expression of feelings, sensations and thoughts. The paintings always start with small dots of water and colour and through the interaction of both the paintings are born. All the things lost and lock in my memory, feelings and thoughts, images, landscapes, places, people and situations, appear between, the fields of colour, the lines, the forms and become alive. I found, working with watercolours, my inner self. Watercolours were chosen as my main technique cause, with then and with small pieces of paper, I express myself totally. I no longer fell the pressure and the need, I felt before, of working on large canvas and I feel free to do whatever it comes to my mind. So the result of these last years of work is those paintings full of light, colour, life and movement. I found myself as a painter....

Sylvia Styleulove - Art is my passion. I have been interested in exploring and understanding life through art since I was a small child. I have learned to appreciate the beauty in everyday events and the people around me. Nothing is as simple or as ordinary as it first seems. Every day I live is amazing and I am grateful for the opportunity I have to share my experiences with you through my art. You are my inspiration. We all experience a balance of many things: joy and sorrow, the interplay of light and dark, textures, scents, movements, and sound. For me, balance is the key to life. Yin and Yang, so to speak. This eastern duality is simple but powerful and it is a major element in my art. It is through art that my imagination comes to life without constraints as to media. Our appreciation for what is beautiful is limitless, boundless, and formless, but we give it form. Perhaps, through my passion I can inspire you, as well. ...

Theo Radic - Everyone experiences drawing and painting as children. I was perhaps one year old therefore when I was first initiated into the painter's craft. I continued these universal beginnings throughout my school years and sporadic courses in college (which gave me few insights into this art). [...] I had only myself as a teacher in the art of painting. My evolution as a painter paralleled that of art history in general, beginning with my prehistoric period as a one-year-old-clutcher-of-crayolas, groping through Egyptian and Greek periods; a Renaissance period; and then neo-classicism, romanticism and naturalism; impressionism and fauvism; cubism and abstract expressionism. At nineteen I went to Europe, thirsty for scope and depth in Art which America lacks. Having established myself in the south of France, I absorbed the emanations of the modern masters who had lived and painted there. I was profoundly moved by the bizarre snow storm over La Cote d'Azur on the night of Picasso's death. No such storm had ever been seen before in April, as old-timers in Nice told me. [...] Fully acknowledging my debt to 'abstract expressionism', I nonetheless do not consider my art'abstract' - a word ...

Diane Kastensmith Bradbury - I love the spontaneity and freshness of watercolor - especially the "accidental" movement of color that results from painting wet into wet. I usually start with a wet into wet technique, and work through all the stages of the paper, until I am painting wet into dry. I often soak the painting in the bathtub overnight to soften the edges and lighten the colors, going back in the next day to sharpen details and brighten or darken colors where needed. I repeat this process until I can see that the painting is finished. I believe the record for the number of times this was done was a painting I sold in 1985, called "Blue Tree". It had been soaked twenty-two times before I was satisfied with the result. Of course, high quality paint and paper are essential to this process. "Seasons ...

Dario Raffaele Orioli - A painting, statue or other work of art speaks best for itself, without superfluous words, but to say a few words about my opinion about art. Art allows us to live, differently at different periods stages of life. Different already in character, temperament of each individual. Through art I seek man Of course, many painters run away from looking for a man because it is a painstaking job, so it is easier for them to end up in abstractions, concepts, etc. under the pretext that it is modern.Abstraction is a trip to the unknown, but after many years of such a trip to the unknown, one gets tired and realizes that he needs the peace and stability he can find in the knowledge of the world around him, which is right outside of him and if he knows how to look, he can think through it enjoy it here and now There is a saying that every living being is a snapshot of nature towards man, this can be applied to art ....Any abstraction is an artists shot at figuration.... Of course it can be the other way around, but what a world this would be if it were ...

Pim Van Der Wel - Pim van der Wel (1950) combines the art of making watercolours with his work as a business economist. After lessons in all the basic drawing techniques by two Dutch painters in the periods 1980/1987 and 1994/1996 he specialised himself in watercolours. Watercolour offers hardly any limitations, so he can show what he likes and that is light and shadow in dents, creases and gloss etc. His objects are sports (mainly football), cans, torsos, animals (cows, sheep, dogs and chicken). In the last 10 years his work has been shown at (group-)exhibitions in the Netherlands. Some galleries have his works permanently in stock. ...

Laurie Pagels - "I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do" -- Leonardo DaVinci Today must not be a souvenir of yesterday, and so the struggle is everlasting. Who am I today? What do I see today? How shall I use what I know, and how shall I avoid being victim of what I know? Life is not repetition. (Robert Henri)...
