Sipos Lorand - My ars poetics: I see it so, that our age, very much showed what should do, very much said, very material and very noisy. For what I am looking in my environment and my works show what should do, that unsaid one, the quiet one, the mysterious one, the mystic. I was born in Marosvasarhely/Transylvania in 1969. In my works I try to portray the atmosphere around me in these new century. In our Complex world I need to find an artistic language what can translate my vision of the mingling of cultures and emotions. For me painting is a way of living, of expressing myself and my opinions, and I never cease to question and judge it. Thank you for your attention. ...
Lynch Xabier - I have always been interested in the metaphysical aspects of creation. The journey of researching and exploring different cultures' philosophies and religions in an attempt to classify my unique vision of the world I live, led me to explore different ways of communicating my experience to the world. I tried writing, but I needed thousand of pages to describe the simplest things. I try poetry, and found surrealism to be the perfect instrument of communication. Learning from the surrealist movement the art of depicting the impossible, I started painting my dreams, experiences, and ideas using the double image technique. In my language you will find images of alchemical significance, Hinduism philosophy, Celtic and Afro Caribbean pantheon figures, and most recently TAROT cards and Kabbalah. I think of art as an instrument at the service of a major purpose. ...
Alice Banciu - Alice Banciu is a Romanian artist living in Bucharest. Although she has a predilection for abstract paintings, Alice also likes to indulge in delicate impressionism. Her paintings range from the conceptual surrealistic expressions of human emotions and relationships to innocent and almost naive nature representations.
