Artist Statement -

I am an American artist now working in Seoul, S. Korea after living and exhibiting in Los Angeles for about 12 years.

My work stems from my experience of NE Asian culture, while extending the tradition of Western abstraction. It’s a mixture of vernacular, pop culture and trends in abstraction such as biomorphism, minimalism, and hard edge, combined as a sort of “pop minimalism.” The artwork includes paintings, digital prints, work on paper, etc.
