Art is the way I express myself, it has been a way of life, a form of reaching others, to show them a little of what I grew up with in the heart of the Australian Outback.
I have been blessed, growing up with all the beauty and colors of Australia, the wildlife found nowhere else on earth, I would never have changed my childhood for anything.
The techniques I use are my personal rendition, the way I see them in my mind, before adding them to canvas. I not only paint in the traditional earth tones, but the full spectrum of color, because not everything in life is in earth tones. The desert in spring for example is full of fabulous and rich colors, so to do it any justice, I must incorporate and transfer these wonderful colors to the canvas.
