This colorful, poetic illustration is an abstraction of the term Sayings. To realize this idea I used a feather like form in rainbow colors (as a symbol for the written word) in the foreground and a cloudy yellow background which could remind to old papers or parchments. Abstract characters are completing the composition. To underline the finely detailed textures, the luminous paint scheme and the painterly quality the image is printed directly onto the back of a 1/4 inch thick sheet of clear acrylic, with hanging wire, ready to hang.
