Four hours work. Spent afternoon in sanctuary with Goldie lying by my side. Pauline treated me, as usual, with her extra delicious meals (you have nooo idea, how exceptional my best friend cooks), and a glass of Merlot, and Chardonnay with the giant shrimp and red and green peppers with garlic, onions, red wine vinegar and sugar (cooked to al dente conditon.. just the way I love it).. Why I mention this? Because cooking is an art form.. an expression of what the cook likes, presentation too, with the expertise and experience. Then come the colors with the vegetables, greens, fruits,.. what ever is used.. the texture.. and !!! most of all, the taste!!. I am devout fan of Paulines' "kitchen". The right glass of wine, and what is more relaxing and inspiring.. the garden is in full bloom.. shade by giant trees, which surround me there.. large yellow butterflies.. a real beautiful biiiig Monarch.. off and on the emerald green and gold , tipsy japanese fruit beetles.. bees.. birds of many kinds with their delightful chirping and singing.. slight rustling of breeze in the foliage of the trees.. .. I am so lucky to be right there.. at the large round ornate, iron garden table.. my art stuff around me. and create. Have even an easel there, to view my progress in between.. search with eyes and absorb with core and mind.. and now, YOU can ;-) Added new symbolical forms.. Lines strengthened and added also. you notice, when you closely follow my progress.. I think about bringing this series to the salon/banquet, on Sept. 15, 2007, in Monrovia. Announced in my blog.. Will see.
