I was doing a series of drawings on women of color around the world. I had completed images, of women from Queens to workers, and I needed an image of an Earthy Mother. I looked a photos, in books, on the internet, and in day dreams. My wife and I went on vacation in the Caribbean, during our visit I saw the image of Queen Mother
