Artwork Description:

Conceptual abstract word art combined with digital photography. On a trip to Duluth, MN, my husband took this photo of one of the harbor lighthouses and local seagulls. I printed the photo on rice paper and applied it to a canvas and overlaid it with acrylic paint. I made up a little poem to go along with it. Using a computer photo program to select fonts and layout, I applied lettering to the canvas.
