Artwork Description:

This cute dog is held over the girls shoulder. The girl has a single braid of hair reaching down along her backpack. A red cloth item is tied there from the backpack as well. The paint was applied loosely in bright colors onto a sheet of Yupo, a synthetic paper, similar to plastic. My paintings begin with an abstract application of acrylic paint from which I pull the lines and shapes that make the final unexpected subject. I think this painting has a happy feel to it.
