Artwork Description:   When an artwork fails the artist just pushes forward. In this case a red and green forest turned on its side and became this beautiful white abstract. Scraping away a white overpainting reveals the color beneath and adds long smooth strokes. The texture is further enhanced with metallic and iridescent colors. At the same time alcohol was used to remove white residue from the bright colors beneath. A long and difficult path has led us here where we see a simple design with subtle exciting elements. Enjoy it unframed or place it in a floater frame.
