Artwork Description:

This painting was showcased in my Antwerp exhibition called 'Wrestling in the Sea (with the One)'. At www. reocities. com/gmerleve/cataokust. html you can see a 6-steps overview of the last 5 development states that where overpainted unto the final synthesis of the painting (2004-2006). Strictly spoken, there were more stages lost, going back to it's start in 2002, but I failed to photograph them.
