Artwork Description:

This is a portrait of Dr. Know, guitarist for the Bad Brains , a punk reggae band formed in the DC area. The group was formed during the late 70 s, and performed at small clubs and alternative venues. They became popular once they moved to NYC in the early 80 s, and were at the top of the punk rock scene there. During the 80 s they begin too tour nationally and globally.
