You Don't Know Me - A painting in Acrylic...
Well, I was listening to Michael Buble belting out this song "you don't know me" and it was late at night. The song talks about this guy who "liked" this girl but she only thought of him as a friend. It goes on to say that she found someone else and he was looking at her walking away with him and the pain he felt that she didn't know him and that he spent his days and night thinking and dreaming of her...
In my primary school, I had a crush on Zalina, my headmaster's daughter. I never did tell her how much I liked her. A year later, primary school ended and I have never seen her since. It's been 34 years now and I guess she must be married now with 2 or 3 kids.. Sometimes I do think of how it might have been~
I remember your smile and laughter then
How we exchanged homework at class
I remember how you looked, so beautiful
How I had a crush on you then, long ago
I remember how our friendship grew
Yet I never said how I truly felt to you
You know how you shared your joys and tears
Yet I never told you how I would be there for you
I remember how you felt in love with another
How you shared your feelings to me
I remember how I felt when I heard it
How it cut me so deep inside of me
Through it all, I smiled and was your friend~
