Sold. Certain trees hold onto their leaves through the winter. After a spring rain, these leaves jump right out of the woods. The painting is covered with Soluvar varnish for protection and its stretcher bars are reinforced with an oak plank to prevent warping. A frame would be fine, but the edges are painted with a richly textured antique gold, rendering a frame unnecessary.
