Artwork Description:   Painted as part of a series of paintings on the theme, music. The painting was executed whilst listening to The Flower Duet by Leo Delibes which I find simply beautiful. It was painted intuitively and in direct response to the music and the emotions that it evoked. My aim was to create similar emotions in the audience, to visually interpret the sound and its impact on my mood and feelings. There are many layers which took time to evolve and develop. Some of the paint is interference which means it looks different from each viewpoint. It also has a layer of gold underneath the paint. It was impossible to capture all of the textures and colours in a photograph. It is very delicate, with great depth, it demands attention when viewed in the flesh. texture, abstract, expressionism, colour, emotion, abstract, classical music, music,
