The artist has created a dramatic composition with a very appealing combination of interesting textures. The drawing feels accurate and the range of values is good
Details: (Portrait of Migdalia Caban's Mother)
Portrait of Puerto Rican International Singer, Mara Jovita Negrn, also known as La Espaolita (1960s). For many years, Mara Jovita was the main star artists of the first TV musical program in Puerto Rico, Tribuna Del Arte, with Don Rafael Quiones Vidal. This portrait has a very strong Spanish Flavor. The Classic Spanish Mantilla, the passioned red velvet of the flamenco dress, the Golden appliqus... All, working in unison, creating the sense of a Spanish Melody within the viewers soul.
