Artwork Description:

This is acrylic, gold leaf and objects painting on high quality linen and custom made canvas. The style is defined by sculptural use of paint. It is 3-D, built-up mixture of many layers of thick gesso, paint, sand and other materials. I m inspired by the structure of Saturn s Moons. This one was inspired by the surface of the satellite called Mimas. With a diameter of 396 kilometres 246 mi , it is the smallest astronomical body that is known to still be rounded in shape because of self-gravitation. It is named after Mimas, a son of Gaia in Greek mythology. Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage. The colors may look a little bit different depending on the screen. This artwork is signed and dated on the back. A signed Certificate Of Authenticity will be included with the artwork. Edges are painted so it doesn t require any frame.
