Artwork Description:

From a pretty rough silhouette, I created my very first series of works. This one is born by chance without thinking in advance. It is composed of a heavy colour mixture. These colours have been superposed on one another and they were finally flatten and mixed with the help from a plank, which allowed me to create this organic aspect. The last coat is of course the theme of this series: Aphrodite that is part of the composition. Alone, in pair or by three, this series was only the beginning. The Venus was my very first inspiration with reference to mythology. Venus is the Goddess of Love, Seduction and Beauty. Aphrodite was also at the origin of Beauty in all its aestheticism.
