Artwork Description:   A piece painted from my memories of travelling to Thailand with its beautiful Islands, seas and sunsets, I saw a yacht just drifting near the shallow shores of the phi Phi islands. The sunset was so warm and colourful, it made the white vessel blend into the scene making it almost unreal, like a mirage. Thailand is a truly amazing and inspiring place to be. Colourful calm is the third piece in my seascape series and one I sincerely enjoyed painting. I would love to return to Thailand some time and paint some of the magical scenes it has to offer.
