A corkscrew on a cross. The cross is an ancient greek symbol which represented the four elements. Plato once said that the desires of the flesh are like nails that bind the spirit to the cross of the world. In the gospels Jesus employs vineyard imagery in his parables, many of which were taken directly from earlier accounts from Mediterranean wine gods.
