Dear Artists, I’m writing with a quick update on the progress of the new Art Gallery website. As you may have seen, we launched our new-look site last week, with a fresher look and feel, as well as adding some improved functionality on the site. Unfortunately, despite a lot of testing on the new site before it went live, we have found some issues within the area that you, as artists, use to manage your artworks. I have seen first-hand how frustrating it may be whilst we are working on sorting these issues. Whilst we want to offer the customer the best experience that we can, we are also very mindful that our site is nothing without the fantastic group of artists that feature on it. To have inconvenienced you is not something we ever intended to do, and I am extremely sorry it has caused such problems. Our old site had a number of limitations which prevented us from being able to develop and try and take advantage of new technologies which should make the customer journey easier. Thank you so much for your patience whilst we bed the new site in – you have my assurances that our development team are working round the clock to resolve all of the post-live issues that we are aware of and will make changes as these issues are resolved
