Artwork Description:

This oil portrait was done early in my art life, Aug. 28, 1972, only 15 months after I began to paint. It was done in four hues: a red, a yellow, a blue and a green. The exact same four pigments were used for the same-sized portrait of her husband, Dr. John J. Mood, finished Aug. 26, 1972. This oil portrait of Stephanie was given to her and her hubsand out of friendship. It was either destroyed or thrown out by Stephanie or her husband prior to the 1990's, according to the first-hand testimony of the Moods themselves.
