Artwork Description:

My all-time favorite model, Katherine Webster. The increasing wind of the incoming storm is suggested by the flapping of the colored streamers and the pink tablecloths, the blown-around paper bag on the floor, the bent dune grass, and the model’s wind-whipped hair. The violence of the storm is contrasted with the calm repose of the model and the Siamese cat. The model is serenely transfixed by the forces of nature. The cat is snoozing contentedly, oblivious of the impending storm.
