Cloudy weather, cool wind, drizzling rain do not spoil the beautiful mood and the feeling of awakening nature. A walk through the forest, the awakening flowers and herbs under your feet are pleasing to the eye and lift your mood. On the weekend of the Easter holiday, there are always delicious pastries, sweet and flavorful cakes baked by my mother and decorated with Easter eggs. I really wanted to draw a festive still life that will remind you of a warm and heartfelt home holiday. And the color scheme of the idea and the color of mother-of-pearl eggs was suggested by an unusual plant called honeydew. Its multicolored pink, lilac, purple and bright blue small flowers, collected in one inflorescence, fascinate with their extraordinary beauty. Flowering branches of forest shrubs remind of spring and natural flowering, and a small porcelain bird that seems to fly and sit on the bark of a birch tree, reminds of the forest and the clean air of the forest. The painting is painted in oil on a linen canvas with a stretcher.
