Artwork Description:

I created a lot of art for Pesach, wrote a complete Haggadah, series of the 15 Steps, Chad kadya, Echad mee yodea, in black and white or in color, painted the seder, and more. This painting belongs to a series of four, depicting the four sons in the Haggadah: the wise son, the bad son, the simple son, and the one who does not know what to ask. This painting shows the simple son, a good hardworking Jew. I was inspired to make this painting after visiting a pickle store at the Lower East Side in New York. This work is nit for sale, it belonged to my parents and now hangs in my house, but I am happy to take a commission for a similar work.
