Artwork Description:

Painting: Acrylic, Cold Wax on Canvas. My technique consists of carefully adding and subtracting layers of colors by using brushes and squeegees. I create a dense, subtle and slowly deepening mixture of overlapping colors and shapes. When painting I have in mind: Beauty, Color, and Texture. I build layer upon layer of color and texture. It is a very tactile painting with structures that emerge within the layers. An energetically exciting piece that has structure, depth, and gravitas. It also alludes to landscape and emotions.
