Artwork Description:

... yess... by elevator.. was not in any condition to climb all the stairs up to third floor.. with the big package.. and other stuff.. had help from young, pretty and efficient as well as friendly 'Carole' ... There is a story to this.. usually with me somehow is.. Had reserved a room, reserve no. on record.. weeks before. Art Director Marcello Cazzaniga from Camaver International, advised to do so early.. We would be all in the same hotel, which was in city, clean, I was told.. shower, toilet.. o. k. for regular priced acommodation.--. For some reason, I was not able to change date of arrival on the website for reservations.. so. to make sure, I mentioned under 'remarks' my request for the 12th as arrival to assure room reservation. Did get almost immediate response, that room would be ready for the 13th.. !?! -- So.. I e-mailed directly to the hotel to correct date to the 12th of Dec.2006.. Just 'had to' mentione the 2006 in case they might think of 2007... -- Received a very nice response from the hotel manager.. who had also visited my portfolio at absolutearts and said, he liked it..--- Weeeeelllll.... I arrived with cab.. got in-asked for key, mentioned my reserve no. We have reservation for tomorrow, the 'receptionist dude' said.. Nothing available tonight.. No record for the 12th.. I thought, that's what I 'felt' - kind of- would happen.. But this time I was 'prepared'.. I did still have the confirmation for the 12th, by the manager Farouk or Frederic.. and it was on my sidekick 2.. that.. would get me a room.. Smiled at the non expressive face of the dude behind the desk.."I have confirmation of reservation for today, and I have it with me.. was confirmed by your manager just a short while ago.. Monsieur Farouk or Frederique..!?! (had to pull my now 'meager' French into that! one).. He laughed, I almost got suspicious in regard to the manager e_mail, when he turned towards open office door to his right.."You confirmed room?.." And yuppp... the manager's face looked out shortly.. smiled.. sort of uneasy- yet amused.. 'Yes, I did'.. and with a short hand movement, I was offered, if I wished, room 33 on third floor.. (yeahh right.. if-- I wanted.. I was dead in my shoes... I wanted!!).. And 'Carole' showed.. with her pretty smile, that made me feel so much better.. and she spoke understandable beautifully accented English too. .. plus helped with the large package into the small elevator (-ooold building).. The rest you know.. almost.. ;-)

Thus, we always offer individualized attention to each client for every purchase however small or large it may be. We treat all our clients with great attention and care. We are not a big box store -- not like a warehouse store shipping low quality reproduction art -- not like a big discounter --or website that offers "free shipping" which usually drives the price up and takes money away from the artist. We are a company with over 25 years of art experience and we always treat our artists fairly. On the internet since 1995, absolutearts.com understands that each original work of art is valuable. Whether your art purchase is a gift, a corporate piece, a private art commission or an artwork for your living room - we always respect your taste and privacy!
