Archival Print on Ilford B W paper Print Size 48 x 34 This photograph of the Fiddler s Elbow in Portknockie in Scotland was taken in June 2016 and edited in July 2016. The weather was unrelenting most of the morning and fraught with heavy rain. My impression is to create a visual land seascape that provides a glimpse of the fragile relationship of nature and the ever changing face of landscape. The use of monochrome provides the mood and contrast that accentuates this natural form. Digital negative with a 30 second exposure. LightJet print on Ilford B W paper – original photo print for quality black-and-white shots. The Ilford B W paper was designed for the combination of modern laser exposure and traditional silver halide development. We use the renowned LightJet exposure system by Océ, which brings out the finest details with clarity. The polyethylene image base is rinsed for an extra long time to make it more durable. The silver in the material prevents the image from fading even after it is displayed for a long time. Each print is cut and dry mounted on white backboard prior to the mounting of a white front mount. This fine art print meets museum longevity requirements and is carefully hand crafted.
