.. seems.. have to re write description.. hmm... mysteries not wanting to be 'told'.. smiling.. on Oct.16th , 2011 captured the tree trunk/bark series early morning, while at park, walking daily morning 2 miles.. did not do the last 1 mile.. eyes took glimpse of Palm Tree tree trunks.. had taken one series several months ago.. from others'.. and knew, would be an 'experience'.. Walked up to them.. and stayed.. one image after another-figures. creatures. mysteries. My 'eye'.. was entranced.. my mind.. enchanted.. and challenged.. here is image taken last in series.. like to start at the 'end' of things.. (also in reading.. must be resonance of living/ working as translator/secretary in the Iran for 7 years..).. The gnome like figure in upper middle raised my interest.. you can see, is bald.. and from side.. sitting.. eyes closed.. conjuring 'his' magic..(for me).. Move eyes downward.. middle right.. the face of female.. profile and front view 'within' ONE..(I often paint/draw intuitively as this.. amused.. in quiet feel, that 'she' here' very much favors my likeness).. just keeps my feel and imagination even more in suspension.. You.. find the other.. the water.. stones.. for me..'ties' together.. to 'write' in mind the story... I changed hues.. lightened areas.. to bring forward, what initial original image of tree bark 'suggested'.. to my 'eye'....(windows photo gallery.. no other 'tools' ).. Now.. the continuance urges.. the wanting to print in given size.. and 'enter' this for me magic 'place'.. of mysteries.. with my finest brush and paints.. Guess.. will have to 'wait' in suspension a while longer.. with all the others.. tucked away safely in my many files.. When time is ready for me.. I will be 'here'.. or is it 'there'...?.. hmmm.. add: see the huge face in the dark.. left middle.. .. towards where her eyes are fixed..?.. as if comes towards 'surface' of mysterious pond.. feel is of 'he'.. and has 'tear' on his cheek.. my mind suggests.. and my feel.. other substance.. than drop of ponds water..
