.... tree trunks were 'calling' me from afar... longed to 'be' within their 'skin'... found their 'voices'... Images... my creative eye instantly connected to... this is Eucalyptus tree.. the ancient ones.. trunks split apart.. healed during the years.. skin broken open... textures in their healed 'scars.'.. bark.. colors.. incredible... ones I would want to paint with.. and 'did'... with my Kodak Easy Share 2740.. which has burnt in water sports on lens (need new lens).. closed in.. so still clear enough to 'see'... what this old tree 'offered'.. and wanted me to see... light assisted.. angles too.. shadows so deep... mating with highlights of sun rays.... softer under the foliage.. or behind the light.. look for figures and faces.... ENLARGE, please.. and distance a bit from monitor.. ahhh.. there.. now... You 'see' what I do............. take the 'journey'..... that goes from eye within... never ending ... journey... Nature's offerings.. feel the 'pulse'.. memory.. of this old tree... mine too... and Yours...
