This original hand pulled print by the artist was executed in French, colored oil base etching inks on Rives BFK white paper, also from France. This print is the best of five prints in the First of Four Editions. It is part of a series of etchings entitled, SACRED PLACES MAGICAL SPACES, and was inspired by an original albumen print by George Washington Wilson, who died in 1893. The photo is from the A. D. White Architectural Photographs Collection at Cornell University Library. The zinc plate, and consequent image size, measures nine inches high by six inches wide. Size of the paper is 15 inches by 11inches. The geometric flow of lines demonstrates the strength of English Gothic architecture.
