Full title is, HEADLESS SAINT AND KING AT NOTRE DAME IN PARIS. This print is from my PARIS series, as well as my series of images represented in MYSTERIOUS PLACES AND SACRED SPACES series. It features several sculpted figures from the central portal at NOTRE DAME in Paris. I shot the photograph from which this was adapted in 1987 and executed the digital image and etching in 2010. The etching techniques include intaglio, aquatint and drypoint. This work is from three very limited editions of only ten prints per edition. This is the first edition, which uses a carbon black oil-based etching ink on RivesBFK white paper. Print is 15 by 11 inches. I hand printed and published this edition at The Center for Works on Paper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Please note that this etching is shipped to the collector without a frame or mat. This keeps the price low and allows the collector personal choice in matt selection and framing. A sturdy cardboard box is employed for shipping the work. The etching is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping carton and securely packed with bubble wrap. The Absolute Arts Dot Com price includes all handling costs, shipment supplies, and the coast of the shipment box. Mailing costs are added.
