Artwork Description:
This print is from an original waterolour of my home town, Clifden, Connemara, on the west coast of Ireland.
It was painted for the anniversary re-enactment of Alcock and Brown's first transatlantic flight. These spires, and the mountains behind them, must have been their first sighting of land after their incredible journey from Newfoundland, on Canada's East Coast.
It is printed on rough textured, acid free, 150lb watercolour grade paper, using the finest of pigment inks.
